One has to pay $15 as a retrieval fee and the state has only kept records from July 1948.

There are guidelines that should be followed in requesting for a copy of a divorce records in the state of Missouri. An application form has to be filled out with the information related to the divorce. The form should be submitted and it should also contain details about the individual who requested the file. One thing to keep in mind is that, the record can only be requested by the divorcees and their immediate families, otherwise a special request is made which includes an authorization letter.
